API, ISO, OIML, Etc. - Update 01/2007

Standards for Tank Gauging (01/07)

Paper updated January 2007

These standards are a good starting point for educating people not familiar with tank gauging towards a comprehensive knowledge of the subject.

Note: Current API and ISO standards relfect Custody Transfer by tank gauging is by volume.  The two accepted methods of volume measurement are Hybrid Method (Level, Temperature, Density, & Water) and Hydrostatic Method (Mass, Density, & Water).  The standards for these methods are in blue font, with supporting standards in green.
